I came across this today and just had to share! It just fit perfectly into some things going on in my life and I found it so inspirational. In the months leading up to my 30th Birthday, I went back and forth on how I felt about entering a new decade of life. The thought of saying that I was now "30" sounded awful, but how bad could it really be? I have to say that, so far, I am feeling really good about it! (The opposite of how I was assuming I'd feel) The weekend of turning 30 started out with one of the happiest moments I can remember. My Mom, Kristi, Pam, and I hosted a baby shower for Nancy. At the end of the shower, Nancy presented me with an "I love my Godmother" frame. Inside, was an extremely special note from her and Scott asking me to serve as Godmother to one of the twins; Thomas John! My eyes immediately got teary! This was such a special moment and I am so honored. Growing up, Scott was like a big brother to me and such a big part of my life. I can't wait to take a big part in his son's life!
